Preparing dinner in a friend’s summer rental in Little Compton, Rhode Island


MOUNTAIN MAMA’S MAGIC MUSHROOMS

These might just be one of the biggest hits on our dining room table. It is also absolutely the easiest thing I make.

Ingredients:

Shitake or small brown mushrooms

Salted Butter

Worcestershire sauce

In a frying pan saute sliced mushrooms in salted butter.

As they start to soften add more butter and a nice helping of Worcestershire sauce.

Stir well to blend the butter and the Thorn family’s favorite sauce until well blended and coating the mushrooms.

Cook for another minute or two until you can’t help but eat them.
