The Best Sauce You Ever Ate In Your Entire Life

Please forgive my obnoxious amount of dollops of Thousand Island dressing. It tastes so much better than it looks!

I made this sauce to go with four gorgeous thick filets that my eldest son sent for mother’s day. The gift was a fabulous surprise and rather luxurious. Luxurious meat deserves a gorgeous sauce.

In a sauce pan I combined:

  • Loads of great quality butter, I used some fancy shmansy one from Vermont.

  • Chopped flat leaf parsley

  • Boursin cheese. I buy the garlic and fine herb flavor

  • A pinch of salt and pepper. I use coarse ground of both

Warm it until it’s melted and creamy. I used a bit more butter than cheese, but really, I don’t think you can go wrong. Make it to your own taste.

Pour lavishly over anything good you want to eat!

EDITED TO ADD: I made this a second time and for half of the cheese I used Jasper Hill blue cheese and it was magnificent.
